All About Drew Estate's Infused ACID Cigars

Acid Cigars

About Acid

Acid; this name is sure to grab your attention immediately. This brand was named after an acronym for Arielle Chester Industrial Design. Drew Estate Cigar founders Jonathan Drew and Marvin Samel were inspired and teamed up with artist Scott Chester to create this unique line. Acid cigars are differentiated by their uniquely colorful label and unique infusions.

The dominant hue on each label is designed to convey information about the flavor and aroma of each individual cigar. For a relatively recent start-up, Drew Estate’s sales and reputation among serious cigar smokers and sellers has continued to soar. Their continued success is largely sustained with Acid cigars. Acid cigars play a major role when it comes to the overall success of Drew Estate.

These immaculate cigars are infused with a variety of botanicals, herbs, oils and wines. Their unique blends allow for a smoke that is enticing and appealing. A major distinction that Acid and Drew Estate makes clear when it comes to Acid cigars is that they are not “flavored”. Acid rejects that term completely. Flavoring is considered to be an industrial application that is unrelated to the creation of natural acids. Drew Estate keeps their process a complete secret. Their actual infusion process is a patent held exclusively within the Drew Estate walls. Generally, flavoring is a fast and cheap process. Acid takes the complete opposite approach by implementing a lengthy manufacturing process with the highest quality ingredients. One revealing secret is that they encase the rolled cigars in plastic and store them in a cool room. This process ensures that the infusions are enhanced.

Let’s get to the lines. Acid cigars are categorized by color-coded lines. The lines are Blue, Red, Gold and Purple.

Any Acid cigar with the blue line means you are smoking the classic and original Acid cigar. Here are some examples of the blue lines. The Acid Blondie has buttery caramel taste and includes notes of spice, honey, ginger and cream. The Kuba Kuba is known for a supremely tantalizing aroma. Another favorite within the blue line is the Krush which is a miniature version of the Blondie. Even though it is smaller than the Blondie, The Krush doesn’t lack when it comes to scent or flavor. The blue line comes in a variety of distinctive shapes. Each cigar can typically be smoked in about 20 minutes.

The red line of acid cigars tends to be more intense. The Acid Liquid is a robust smoke with infusions of plants, spices and roasted cashews. Characterized by a torpedo shape, the Nasty is sure to provide a pleasurable smoke. Chocolate, cocoa beans, cinnamon and notes are combined to provide a unique aroma. Similar to the blue line, the reds have their own Krush version of mini-cigars. These are infused with the same components as the Liquid.

For a mellower experience, Drew Estate offers the gold line of Acid cigars. The Acid Atom Maduro is the only acid cigar where the tobacco eclipses the herbal additives when it comes to taste and aroma. Earthiness, on the other hand, contains white pepper to enhance the flavor and smell. Earthiness is considered to be the fullest body cigar out of the Acid line. Their Cold Infusion is akin to a scented candle, giving the smoker a whiff of freshly cut pine, spice, fruits and peach cobbler. Again, Drew Estate offers smaller Krush versions of this smooth line.

The purple line is all about aroma. The Purple Roam has a pleasant creamy flavor with heavy floral notes. Roses and sweet spices mark the aroma of Extra Ordinary Larry, which is the most botanically dense of all the acid cigars. If a shorter smoke is desired, the C-Note is available as a cigarillo with no reduction in flavor or distinctive smell. All four lines provide variety in taste and smell by formulating numerous infusion combinations. In doing so, the widest range of cigar smokers are satisfied.
